The acronym AWANA is was derived straight from scripture.  Meaning literally Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, it is taken almost straight out of the Bible found in II Timothy 2:15.

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly divining the Word of Truth. - II Timothy 2:15

What is AWANA?

AWANA meets each Wednesday night during the school year (August - May) from 6:30 - 8:00 PM.
