Awana Clubs meet every Wednesday night at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Building. The Awana Program is a great way for children from the age of 2 all the way to teenagers up to age 18 to get involved in learning about God. The Good New Club meets at Keowee Elementary School every Tuesday at 3:30PM directly after school in the cafeteria. Here the children are presented and taught a Bible lesson using colorful materials by the teacher. This includes songs, scripture memorization, games and other activities focused on the lesson for the day. This is a great place for a child to learn about God! C.A.R.E. is a ministry commissioning Christians to use their gifts to show individuals within our church and community that we care about them and their families. C.A.R.E standing for Christians Actively Reaching Everyone is a ministry carrying out the Great Commission as stated in Matthew 28:19 . C.A.R.E has four different teams meeting on one Thursday night each month at 7:00 pm to pray, write and send out cards of encouragement and visit people in the community. Our HOPE Seekers meet once per month to enjoy meals and fellowship with special speakers and musicians. If you enjoy bus trips, our seniors attend conferences as well as an annual trip to Myrtle Beach in late December. A "through-the-Bible" discipleship training class is offered on Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM throughout the school year. |
