Our Vision

Our Plan of Execution

New Hope Baptist Church will Gather, Grow, Give, and Go... "in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him." - Colossians 1:10

GATHER- As Believers in Christ, we will worship corporately. Christ died for the church (Acts 20:28; Ephesians 5:25).The church is the body of Christ (Romans 12:5; I Corinthians 10:17; 12:12-27; Ephesians 1:23; 4:12; 5:30; Colossians 1:18, 24; Hebrews 13:3). To be a healthy Christian, a believer must participate in the local Church. To Gather with the saints is a command from God. Hebrews 10:24-25 tells us not to neglect meeting together. We are to gather to receive the knowledge of truth, encouragement from fellow saints and as a sign of our salvation to eternal life.

GROW- As Believers in Christ, we will grow in Christ. We are to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (II Peter 3:18). To grow in grace is to mature as a Christian. God's grace justifies and sanctifies us, and when the Lord returns for His church, His grace will then glorify us. When we grow in Christ, our relationship with Him develops and deepens and when this happens, the more of Him will be seen in our lives. The Scriptures contain all the knowledge we will ever need to learn of God, His Son, and the Holy Spirit.

GIVE- As Believers in Christ, we will give according to the Word of God. In Proverbs 11:25, His word says, "Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered." We are also told in Acts 20:35 "It is more blessed to give than to receive." This is a command from God and we are to honor God by doing so.

GO- As Believers in Christ, we will go and make disciples. All Christians were given the mandate to go and make disciples in Matthew 28: 18-20. "And Jesus came and said to them, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of Father and Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'" As Christians we are to use our lives to lead others to follow Jesus.
